Off the Netherlands, the Southern North Sea is a long-established gas province, with mature offshore fields and continued infill and near-field activity feeding the region’s gas network. Off Denmark, the Central Graben hosts the country’s oil production, centred on chalk reservoirs that require careful drilling and completion. Both are mature, harsh-environment offshore settings where certification and documentation govern whether work proceeds.
